This tour is suitable for almost anybody. This is a family adventure that is safe enough for a 2 year old (riding with a guide or one of his or her parents) yet exciting enough for people of any age. Our oldest adventurer was over 70 years old! The high altitude (7,000 ft+) is a factor to keep in consideration while hiking along our trails, short breath and even a light headed feeling might be experienced if coming from sea level.
Rainforest Adventure (Full Day)
Our goal is to show our visitors all of the different levels of a rainforest, including the treetops or “canopy” - the hardest level to access and, until recently, the least scientifically understood part of the forest. The Tram ride is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes long. The canopy is home to an abundance of flora and fauna that inhabit the rainforest. In their efforts to search for light and space, many plants have colonized the treetops, turning them into small ecosystems full of life.
Rafting on the Pacuare River (Full Day)
Come to the shores of the Pacuare and Reventazon rivers for a delicious breakfast and a trip to the heart of the tropical forest to learn how to raft like a pro. End the day with a smile while taking in the natural beauty surrounding you as your river adventure comes to a close.

It has been awarded the coveted Bandera Azul (blue flag) for conservation.

This trek is recommended for people who are avid hikers and are in moderate physical condition.
